Floodgates is the title track for this album. It was written for Penny’s church, St. Andrew’s Anglican in Springfield. This song leads people before God with an open heart seeking His face and presence.

Laying Down was also written for St. Andrew’s. It seeks to take listeners on a journey from thanks to our gracious God into heartfelt response.

Hold On stems from walking through a challenging time. It reflects the truths Penny held onto in a way to encourage others.

Be Patient Little Child was a song God “sang” over Penny during a season of waiting. It’s a reminder that God is with us through every season of life -- even when we don’t understand.

Who Am I? was written in response to reflecting on God’s character. Many of the lyrics are paraphrases or direct quotes from The Passion Translation of Revelation 15:3-4, 16:5-7, Psalm 8:3-4, Romans 1:20 and Isaiah 55:8.
